Funding AdvanceConnect

The AdvanceConnect account allows an offender to call you and only you. To fund the AdvanceConnect account you must first register your phone number to receive a pass code you will use to fund the AdvanceConnect account.

Things to remember

• Not all services are available for all facilities. To know what services a facility allows go to the Availability and Pricing page and search for the facility you want.
• Make sure you have selected the correct Incarcerated Individual for the service you want. On the JPay home page, in the Incarcerated Individual list, select the Incarcerated Individual you want.
• Make sure you are logged in to use the JPay services.

To register your phone number

You can register your phone number by calling (877) 800-5729. A Correctional Billing Service agent will register your number and provide you with your pass code.

To Fund AdvanceConnect

1. On the JPay home page, on the Navigation menu, click Phone Time.

2. In the Friends and Family AdvanceConnect box, click Buy Prepaid Time.
3. On the AdvanceConnect page, in the Choose account list, select the number you want to use, then enter the pass code for that number. Then click Continue.
4. Choose your payment method by selecting a previously saved card from the Select card list, or click Use a new credit/debit card to use a new card (you will be prompted to add billing information for the new card).

5. In the Enter Amount field, enter the amount of money you want to send to the offender, then click Continue.
6. In the Payment Verification box, make sure the information is correct then click Submit.
